I am in need of a Mechanical Engineer, P.E. with twenty years of experience mostly working a large urban or county water/waste water facility.
The positions are located at the DC Water (Blue Plains) in Washington, DC.The positions are full time and require daily interaction with the client, project design engineers, construction managers, contractors and the program staff. Must be able to manage to a schedule; preferable someone who has successfully delivered consent-driven projects. The candidate must have knowledge and experience with both design and construction management services must have a minimum of 10 years of municipal oriented experience and also have a general knowledge of wastewater treatment. Must be experience with complicated equipment such has belt presses, pumps, and conveyors; experience with combined heat and power facilities is a plus.The candidate must be proficient with computer hardware and software programs specifically must have experience with Microsoft package (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint). A BS degree in civil or/mechanical engineering is preferred; must be a professional licensed engineer in DC.
