Plott Hound - Brandy - Large - Young - Female - Dog
This is Brandy.
She comes to us as an owner surrender. She was found by a good Samaritan that took her in as a tiny puppy and fed her, nursing her back to health.
She's athletic, hilarious, and brighter than your kitchen light bulb with two floppy bat ears to top it all off. If you want a dog that'll make you smile nonstop this dog is for you.
She would prefer a home with a big yard to run in, she loves her exercise! But if you're a runner, hiker, biker, or skateboarder, a big yard isn't necessary but a FENCE is.
Her favorite game is fetch but she also likes to learn new commands. Once she had sit down to a tee she proudly paraded through the house sitting in front of everyone to show off :). But this smarty pants knows more than just sit, she knows lay down, paw, and stay too.
She's about 50ish lbs, a really pretty brindle, with greyhound, plotthound, border collie, dingo, hyena, and who knows mixed her. Then again, who care's whats in her she came out perfect!
She should be around a year and a half about now but still has a playful personality.
She's had all of her vaccinations, been spayed, micro-chipped and of course beefed up a little since she was first found. We wouldn't recommend her with small children she sometimes has spaghetti legs and could topple them over. She's not aggressive, just really clumsy so we're asking that she not go to a home with kids less than 5 years old. Brandy has a strong prey drive so no kitties please. However, she loves, loves, LOVES playing with other dogs and handled our meet and greet with dogs like a champ!!! Adoption fee is $149.
